Warranty & Shipping
Customers who purchase blockheads custom crafted butcher blocks are covered by a full one year warranty which includes coverage during shipping to customer location, (see shipping information below).
All materials and workmanship are covered under our repair or replace policy. This excludes water damage on blocks with oil finishes around dishwashers and sinks. With Oil finish water damage can occur from lack of maintenance. Due to the nature of our blocks being custom crafted to customer specifications we do not offer refunds or replacements for butcher blocks ordered with incorrect measurements provided by the customer or for aesthetic preferences.
If a mistake happens to happen during shipping or a manufacturing error we will try our best to resolve the issue.
Important InformationAbout Freight Deliveries
You MUST open and inspect your butcher block for damage BEFORE you sign for the shipment or if it comes Fed/Ex or UPS ground you MUST open and inspect and report any damage immediately. Failure to do this will void the warranty covering shipping damage.
For freight shipments drivers are able to wait up to 15 minutes while you inspect your shipment for any damage. You are allowed to open the package and inspect the contents. If damage is visible, You MUST do the following;
Note clearly on the bill of lading any damage and refuse shipment. Refused shipments will be returned to us for repair or replacement.
Next contact us immediately and if possible take pictures of the damage and forward it to us.
Failure to follow this procedure will result in loss of coverage by the freight company and manufacturer!
